The first meeting of the National Advisory Board held in Bulgaria


The kick-off meeting of the National Advisory Board (NAB) in Bulgaria was held on 2nd December 2017 in Smolyan.

Representatives were from the departments of the “VET qualification & state educational standards”, National Agency for VET, Senior Experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Head of Department “Vocational Education & Training”, Ministry of Education and Science as well as Senior Experts from Regional Employment Agency, VET Directors, VET experts, representatives by the National ReferNET committee and coordinators of internship actions. The meeting started with an introduction of the members of the advisory board and presentation of the VIVET concept. Then the Interprojects team explained the role and tasks of the NAB. The meeting continued with the sharing of best practices directly related to the project activities and gathering initial feedback about the planned project activities from the participants through brainstorming. There was a session dedicated to the presentation of Intellectual output 2 and discussion on its amendments. At the end of the event, the participants agreed on the next meeting date. Overall the feedback was very positive and the participants confirmed that they will fully support the piloting phase.
