VIVET platform presented at the international conference in Uzice


The international round-table conference entitled  "The challenges of the implementation of dual vocational education and training in modern and contemporary school" was held on 25th May 2018. A conference speaker was Žarko Bogićević, a teacher who teaches vocational courses in electrical engineering in Technical school, Užice.

The international round-table conference was devoted to the companies which promote and deliver dual vocational education and encourage the implementation of dual vocational education and training as well as to the companies which plan to provide students with dual vocational education and training. Representatives of 32 companies which specialized in five lines of business (metal engineering, wood processing and timber industry, textile industry, typography, stone carving industry from Zlatibor and Moravica district) attended the international round-table conference. The representatives of government institutions and the representatives of non-governmental organizations in the sector of the economy and the education sector attended the conference. The international round-table conference addressed some of the following themes:

- Implementing virtual internship programme - the results of project activities performed in the project “Virtual Internships for Vocational Education and Training“

- Using the VIVET platform for the virtual internship programme        

- Carrying out the simulation which indicates how to decrease and diminish considerable risks in a variety of dangerous occupations.
